Network Comedy Rankings for the Week of December 30, 2019

The rankings of network comedies for the week of December 30, 2019 are shown below. There were only a few first-run shows this past week, and the #1 spot was snatched by one of those shows. It was the return of FOX's Last Man Standing. The show was originally cancelled by ABC back in 2016. But since moving to FOX in 2018 for its seventh season, it has had a decent following. For its season premire on January 2, it garnered more than 5.2 million viewers. The rest of the top five went to the usual CBS comedies, although they were all repeats. Namely, they were The Neighborhood, two episodes of Young Sheldon, and Bob Hearts Abishola. The distinction of the worst performing show of the week went to FOX's Simpsons.
