Network Comedy Rankings for the Week of January 6, 2020

The rankings of network comedies for the week of January 6, 2020 are shown below. The winter break is over, and we had a whole slew of first-run comedies this week. However, the results were pretty much the same as they have been in previous weeks. Once again, Young Sheldon took the top spot, followed by fellow CBS shows The Neighborhood and Bob Herts Abishola and #2 and #3 respectively. There was a newcomer to the top 5, though, as Modern Family was able to obtain the #4 spot. Although this long running show was the #1 comedy at one point, it has since lost much of its popularity. So it is nice to see it regain some of its former glory now that it's in its 11th and final season. Rounding off the top 5 is CBS's Mom, and coming it at the very bottom of the list (excluding repeats) is once again NBC's Perfect Harmony.
