Network Comedy Rankings for the Week of January 27, 2020

The rankings of network comedies for the week of January 27, 2020 are shown below. Usually, CBS sitcoms would make a clean sweep of the top five positions again. But this week, the dark horse Saturday Night Live, which has proven its ability to achieve strong ratings despite not airing on primetime, snuck in and took the #2 spot. That abnormality aside, the rest of the top five were very similar to previous weeks. Young Sheldon was at #1, Mom was at #3, The Unicorn was at #4, and The Neighborhood was at #5. Usually, Carol's Second Act draws better numbers than The Neighborhood, but it seems that the Patricia Heaton show is beginning to lose its luster. As for the worst performing first-run show of the week, that honor usually goes to Perfect Harmony. However, that show is pre-empted this week, so the poosition goes the ABC's black'ish.
