Last week, we saw both NXT and Dynamite fall in the ratings. But this week, it's good news for WWE as well as AEW as their shows rebounded, especially Dynamite. (See chart above.) As you can see, Dynamite snatched another victory in this week's edition of the Wednesday Night Wars. But really, it is good news for all since both shows are now on an upswing in terms of ratings.

Dynamite saw a huge bump in viewers, increasing from 828,000 last week to 928,000 this week. That's a big jump of 12.1 percent, and it more than makes up for the audience that they lost last week. But perhaps more importantly, Dynamite's audience has been shrinking for four weeks in a row prior to this. So this change in direction is obviously happy news for AEW. In addition, this puts Dynamite's audience size back above 900 thousand, and it's possible that they will be able to cross the one million mark soon. AEW hasn't been able to reach that number since October of 2019. Besides the increase in viewership, Dynamite also saw a bump in the 18-49 demographic ratings. It went up from 0.34 to 0.36.

As previously mentioned, NXT also saw a growth in its audience this week. It went up from last week's 712,000 to this week's 770,000. That's a significant bump of 8.1 percent. Although that's not as big a jump as Dynamite's increase, it definitely makes up for the audience that NXT lost last week. So it is still good news for the USA show. As far as the 18-19 demographic ratings go, NXT unfortunately did not see a corresponding increase. It remains the same as last week at 0.22.

So chalk it up for Dynamite. That's another victory for AEW both in terms of the audience size as well as the 18-49 demographic ratings. This makes the win-loss record 14-3-1 for Dynamite and 3-14-1 for NXT in regards to the size of their audiences. For the 18-49 demographic ratings, the record is 17-1 for Dynamite and 1-17 for NXT.

This is the sixth victory in a row for Dynamite, and it also makes AEW undefeated in 2020. The war is definitely not over, though, because NXT's numbers are actually not that far behind. So it is definitely possible to see NXT go back to their winning ways. After all, it's Wrestlemania season, and the buzz behind WWE's biggest event of the year could very well help put NXT over the top within the next few weeks.
