Network Comedy Rankings for the Week of February 3, 2020

The rankings of network comedies for the week of February 3, 2020 are shown below. Although there was a little bit of shuffling in the order, the top five shows last week were the same as those from the previous week. As is usually the case, Young Sheldon came in at #1. This was followed by Mom at #2, The Neighborhood at #3, Saturday Night Live at #4, and The Unicorn at #5. At this point, Saturday Night Live can't really be considered a dark horse any more since it is starting to become a staple in the top five. Interestingly, the three worst performing shows last week were all series/season premieres. Coming in last is CW's new show Katy Keene as it only drew in 619,000 viewers. Compred to other CW shows, though, that number is actually not too bad. The second to last is the season premiere of NBC's Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Given that the once-FOX sitcom is now in its 8th season, it is not surprising that the show is becoming an afterthought to most viewers. The third to last is the new NBC sitcom Indebted. The show stars Fran Drescher, best known for her role in the hit series The Nanny. However, it's been over 20 yers since that show went off the air, and it looks like the actress has lost most of her drawing power.
